Al-Magharibia Foundation is launching "Kafa'a" (Competency), a long-term foundational training programme for new volunteers who want to work in public affairs, research, and community work — particularly in public policy, democracy support, governance, and monitoring of transitional processes.
The programme combines seven theoretical training modules — from project management and proposal writing to conflict analysis — with seven real practical applications, including drafting and implementing a project proposal, designing an M&E plan, and writing a public policy paper addressing a real issue in Libya.
"Kafa'a" is designed as a foundational entry point, after which trainees go on to join different departments inside the Foundation based on their interests. See the full programme details on the Projects page, or apply on the "Become a Member" page.
